As one of the seasonal rangers at Fell Foot Park I help to look after this beautiful spot on the shore of Lake Windermere. Every day is a little bit different ranging from keeping the park spick and span, holding snail racing championships, and heading up the regeneration of our reed beds. Fell Foot Park keeps me a busy girl with lots to do for all, and the view is pretty good too!
The National Trust is Europe's largest conservation charity. In the Lake District, we look after a
quarter of the National Park, 125 mountains, 24 lakes, 59 listed buildings, 14 holiday cottages, 3
campsites and 90 tenanted farms. We welcome 19 million visitors throughout the year, opening the
Lakes up for ever, for everyone - Four seasons, One Lake District.
