Camp with us in the remote and peaceful Wasdale valley. Our campsite is located in the most breathtakingly beautiful spot in the UK and is very popular with fell walkers and climbers - particularly those who plan to scale England's highest mountain, Scafell Pike.
We have tent pitches, some with electric hook up, hardstandings for campervans with hook up (max size 6m by 2m) and cosy heated camping pods.
Our on-site shop selling some mouth-watering local meats for your BBQ as well as showers, toilets and laundry facilities.
Wasdale campsite has also just become part of the Western Lakes Electric bike network as an official charge point!
You can book Wasdale campsite online for a minimum of 2 nights or you can just turn up subject to availability.
We are a quiet site and ask that no more than 4 adults camp together. Please read our full terms and conditions on the National Trust's camping website.
Local National Trust Lake District conservation projects benefit from the fees charged for staying with us (all the money is donated) - a great incentive to choose our National Trust campsites!
