A short walk (1.3 miles) along a gentle track East from the parking at Wasdale Head takes you to this fantastic swimming dub. Called the Blue Lagoon by the valley Rangers, this is an ideal spot to cool down on a hot summers day. Surrounded by the towering peaks of Great Gable and Lingmell, lie back in the pool and soak up the views. The pool is about four feet at its deepest and a little further up the beck is a small waterfall that doubles as a power shower! You couldn’t ask for more on a warm day.
Don't forget your towel!
